SUNSET BEACH RESORT, SIESTA KEY
A Timeless Tropical Florida Wedding
Wedding Budget $55,000
What the couple requested and how we made it happen:
A Full Wedding planner to assist with every wedding detail. Erica's greatest concern was how the planning process works since they live out of state and they needed a complementary personality to work closely with her parents.
I was able to provide them with a planning timeline that set their mind at ease: we defined the wedding budget, scheduled zoom meetings with photographers, entertainment, and all other vendors. We then worked together to have one solid week they would be in town to have in-person meetings with all vendors, have an engagement shoot and tastings. Each meeting, tasting and even date night recommendations were provided to them in a neatly organized Planning Week Itinerary
I was able to book appointments at reputable dress and suit boutiques in the couple's hometown for them to select their attire. It helped build Erica's confidence that planning from afar wouldn't affect her missing out on any detail of the planning process.
Things that went wrong and how we handled the situation to fix the problem:
The couple were not fans of a traditional wedding cake but loved tiramisu. Since we couldn't have a real tiramisu out in the Florida sun the caterer and I came up with an idea of having a nontraditional tiramisu cake. Everyone loved it including Yaya from Italy!
Amazing personalized details:
When you and your beau share a love of wine why not have guests sign wine bottles instead of a traditional guest book! I love that Erica and Patrick plan to pop these open on their anniversary and special moments throughout their marriage.
